Summer House League 2025 - Registration Information

Registration Dates for Summer House League 2025

  • Registration will open on April 1, 2025, at 8:00 am on our website, www.sjsoccer.ca.
  • Registration will close on June 1, 2025. Teams will be posted in early June
  • Registration deadlines are implemented to offer a quality program. If you are unable to register before the registration deadline, your name will be placed on a waitlist. Please note that space is not guaranteed to become available.

Program Start & End Dates

  • House League for Under 7 - Under 15 begins Monday, June 30, and runs until Thursday, August 21, at Ayre Athletic Field.
  • Micro "Timbits" Under 4, Under 5, and Under 6 begins Monday, June 30, and runs until Thursday, August 21, at Ayre Athletic Field.

Cost of Program

  • $195.00 Under 7 - Under 15 (8-week program)
  • $195.00 Micro U4, U5 & U6 (8-week program)
  • Registration fees must be paid in full at the time of registration.
  • No registration is complete until all monies are received online or at the office.

Micro 'Timbits' Soccer Program Under 4, 5 & 6 (Co-ed) at Ayre Athletic

  • Micro Registration (U4, U5, U6) is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Each micro team can have a maximum of 10 players. There will be 2 teams per time slot, per age group.
  • The children play at Ayre Field two afternoons each week (Monday and Wednesday OR Tuesday and Thursday) at 12:15 pm or 1:30 pm.
  • When you register, you can select your time and days. During the one-hour session, children will participate in FUNdamental soccer drills and soccer games.

House League Under 7 - Under 15 Program at Ayre Athletic

  • If you are not certain what age group to register your child along with the days, times & locations they will play click here!
  • Each division plays a soccer game twice a week on Monday and Wednesday OR Tuesday and Thursday, depending on which evenings their division plays.
  • Games will be played in the evenings at 5:30 pm or 6:45 pm, depending on the team's schedule, at various fields in the metro St. John's region. 
  • 'Skills n' Drills' sessions are offered for these divisions on Fridays.
  • There must be sufficient numbers registered to offer each division (U7-U15).

Important Notes

  • There are no make-up games or sessions for any cancellations.
  • There is NO soccer on Canada Day and Regatta Day.
  • We do not accept requests to play with other players or coaches.

Equipment Information

  • Each registered player is provided with a jersey
  • Players must have soccer socks, athletic shorts/pants, soccer cleats, and shin guards.
  • Players will receive their jerseys at their first session.

Weather Cancellations & Notification of Cancellations

  • All weather-related soccer cancellations will be posted on the main page of our club website (www.sjsoccer.ca).
  • For Micro (U4-U6), a decision will be made by 11:00 am. If sessions are cancelled, a notification will only be posted.
  • For evening games (U7-U15) a notification will be on the website by 4:00 pm. A notification will only be posted if sessions are canceled.
  • For "Skills n' Drills" on Fridays a notice will be put on our website by 7:30 am. A notification will only be posted if sessions are canceled.

"Skills n' Drills" Information (Under 7 - Under 15)

  • Skills n' Drills" will start on Friday, July 4, 2025 and run each Friday until August 15, 2025.
  • Sessions for our U7-U11 participants (Boys and Girls) will take place at Ayre Athletic Grounds (Upper) Field from 9:00 am-11:00 am.
  • Sessions for our U13-U15 participants (Boys and Girls) will take place at Ayre Athletic Grounds (Lower) Field (on Pennywell Road) from 12:00 pm-2:00 pm.
  • These sessions, run by our staff, will be focused on progressive skill development. They will allow our players to expand their knowledge of the game and increase their confidence on the field outside of their weekly house league games.
  • Parents and guardians are not required to stay for the duration of the session but must sign their children in with our staff at drop-off and sign them out at pick-up. Parents and guardians must also pick up their children on time.

Program Refund

If requested, a refund is issued fourteen days before the program start date. After that, partial refunds are issued only for medical reasons (doctor's note required). Refunds are not issued after the program's end date.

Program Receipts

Please note that receipts for all programs will be provided at the time of registration. If you register online, you can print your receipt. If you register in person at the St. John's Soccer Club office, you will receive your receipt at the office.
