The St. John’s Soccer Club proudly competes at the highest levels of soccer in Newfoundland and Labrador, with teams represented across the NLSA Premier and Championship Leagues. These divisions include our Under 15, Under 17, and Under 19 age groups, as well as our senior women’s Jubilee Trophy team and senior men’s Challenge Cup team. Together, these programs form the pinnacle of competitive play within our club, offering a pathway from youth to senior soccer at the provincial and national levels.
Our Premier and Championship teams are committed to excellence both on and off the field. Training begins in the winter months at the Techniplex, where athletes take part in structured training sessions designed to develop technical ability, tactical awareness, and physical fitness. During this indoor season, teams also participate in exhibition matches, helping players maintain sharpness and continue their growth before the outdoor season begins.
From spring through summer, our teams compete in the NLSA Premier and Championship Leagues, which are operated by the Newfoundland and Labrador Soccer Association (NLSA). These leagues represent the top level of soccer in the province, bringing together the best players and clubs to compete in a highly competitive environment.
For many athletes, participation in these leagues serves as a vital pathway to the NLSA Provincial Program, Canada Games team, and university or college soccer opportunities. Our Under 15, Under 17, Jubilee Trophy, and Challenge Cup Premier League teams compete not only for provincial titles, but also for the chance to represent Newfoundland and Labrador at the Canada Soccer National Championships, where they face the top clubs from across the country.
At St. John’s Soccer Club, we take pride in supporting our athletes through quality training facilities, and a competitive environment that prepares them for success. We are equally committed to fostering a sense of pride, teamwork, and community values that extend beyond the field and shape well-rounded individuals.
