The House League Recreational Soccer Program at St. John’s Soccer Club is designed to provide children and youth of all skill levels with an opportunity to enjoy the game of soccer in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment. This program focuses on participation, enjoyment, and skill development, ensuring every player has the chance to learn and grow regardless of their experience or ability.
In 2014, St. John’s Soccer Club proudly assumed responsibility for running the House League program from the City of St. John’s. Since then, the program has become a cornerstone of community soccer, giving players the chance to discover the joy of the game while fostering friendships, teamwork, and a lifelong passion for sport.
The House League season typically begins in late June or early July and runs until mid-August. Games are scheduled across various fields in St. John’s. Each division plays twice per week.
The program is ran by St. John's Soccer Club summer staff. This team plays a vital role in organizing the program, ensuring fields and equipment are prepared, assisting with coaching, and helping create a positive, safe environment for all participants. Their energy, enthusiasm, and leadership are key to delivering a rewarding soccer experience for every player.
